Binary Core LLC ("Binary Core," "we," "us," or "our") is a San Diego, California company that builds 3D and AI technology. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights across our website at binarycore.us and our two products, BowerBot and CytoLens. We do not sell your data to third parties, ever.
1. Who We Are
Binary Core LLC is a limited liability company based in San Diego, California, United States. We build production 3D pipelines, synthetic training data, custom AI models, and GPU inference infrastructure. This policy covers Binary Core as a company along with all three of our web properties and products:
- binarycore.us: our company website
- BowerBot: our open-source AI agent for OpenUSD scene assembly
- CytoLens: our web-based medical AI platform for thyroid cytology analysis
2. Information Collected on binarycore.us
When you submit a contact form on binarycore.us, we collect the information you choose to provide. Specifically, our contact form may ask for:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your organization (optional)
- A message describing your inquiry, project, or area of interest
How we use this information
We use contact form submissions solely to respond to your inquiry, discuss potential engagements, and follow up on the conversation you started with us. Contact form submissions are not used for marketing outreach to strangers, not shared with unrelated third parties, and not sold under any circumstances.
How we store it
Form submissions are delivered to Binary Core through Formspree, a third-party form processor, and then reach our email inbox. We retain these messages for as long as is reasonably necessary to service and follow up on your inquiry, and we take reasonable measures to keep them secure.
3. BowerBot
BowerBot is an open-source command-line AI agent distributed under the Apache 2.0 license. It runs locally on the user's own machine.
Binary Core does not collect user data from BowerBot
BowerBot does not phone home. We do not receive, store, or process your prompts, your scenes, your assets, your project files, or any usage telemetry from BowerBot. Binary Core has no access to what you build with BowerBot.
Third-party AI providers and your own API keys
BowerBot uses large language models from providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI. To use these capabilities, you provide your own API keys for those providers. When BowerBot sends a prompt, it goes directly from your machine to that provider under your account and billing relationship. Binary Core is not a middle layer in that request and has no access to the prompt content or the provider's response.
Your use of third-party AI providers through BowerBot is governed by those providers' own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review Anthropic's and OpenAI's published policies (and any other provider you configure) to understand how they handle your prompts and outputs.
4. CytoLens
CytoLens is a web-based medical AI platform for thyroid cytology analysis. CytoLens is currently in clinical validation with two hospital systems and is not FDA approved.
What we collect
When an authorized user uploads a digital thyroid cytology slide, CytoLens processes that image to produce an AI-generated analysis. We also collect standard platform data such as account identifiers, authentication logs, and operational logs necessary to run the service securely.
HIPAA considerations
Digital cytology slides can contain information that is regulated under HIPAA and similar health information laws. Binary Core takes HIPAA considerations seriously. Where Binary Core acts as a Business Associate of a covered entity, data handling is governed by a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with that institution. Users of CytoLens who are clinicians or institutional staff are responsible for uploading data in accordance with their institution's policies and applicable law, including obtaining any patient consents that their institution requires.
How we use uploaded slide data
Uploaded slide images are used to perform the requested AI analysis and to operate the platform. With appropriate consent and institutional agreement, de-identified slide data may also be used to improve CytoLens model performance and validate the system. We do not share CytoLens data with unrelated third parties and we do not sell it.
How we store it
CytoLens runs on NVIDIA-optimized infrastructure with appropriate access controls, encryption in transit, and encryption at rest. Access is limited to authorized personnel who need it to operate, secure, or improve the platform.
CytoLens is a research and clinical-validation tool. It is not FDA approved and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. See our Terms of Service for more detail.
5. Cookies and Analytics
binarycore.us uses Vercel Analytics for basic aggregate traffic measurement (such as page views and referrers). This tooling is privacy-friendly and does not track individual users across the web with persistent advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on binarycore.us.
CytoLens uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the service securely.
6. We Do Not Sell Your Data
Binary Core does not sell personal information, contact information, or uploaded content to third parties. We do not rent it, and we do not trade it. This applies to every part of our business, without exception.
